Many people ask if beanbags would fit in their backyard. Definitely yes. What, then, distinguishes a nice backyard bean bag?
One fantastic beanbag for your backyard is one that is stain-resistant, waterproof, heat-resistant, mold- and mildew-resistant.
Today I will discuss the optimum colors for outdoor bean bags, the need for weather-resistant and waterproof bags, and the best filling for outdoor bean bags, as well as why these characteristics are perfect for backyard bean bags. I will go over typical backyard configurations and how to arrange your bean bags within these surroundings.
First I'll discuss how to take care of your outdoor bean bag; then I'll discuss how many you would want in your backyard.

Brandnmart Beanbags are designed to be outdoor living
Let's get going so you may pick up your backyard beanbag and unwind.
A typical garden setup
Typical backyard arrangements consist of:
There are pools, decks, fire pits, pergolas, gardens, lawns, stones, paths, and ponds.
So, how can a beanbag blend in with these surroundings? Let us review every area below.
Pool
Since we create all of our bean bags from Marine Grade Vinyl here at Brandnmart Bean Bags, they are safe to use around both chlorine and salt water pools.
Bean bags beside the swimming pool
The fact that UV-proof and waterproof bean bags will be useful by the pool provides great comfort.
We most frequently sell the following bean bags for use around a pool.
Lounger Bean Bag in Circular Form
The set includes a matching square ottoman, a single modular sofa, and an unwind reclining chair.
See my blog post on Choosing Pool Bean Bags for more suggestions on how to choose a bean bag to go around your pool.
Years
A fantastic idea for a deck chair is a chair bean bag including a footrest.
This gives you something to relax on, which is why the deck chair appears regular.
The best thing about it is that, unlike a standard deck chair, it doesn't occupy much space while you aren't using it.
Firepits
You have to be cautious near a firepit, which is quite natural. One good bean bag to use around this area is one that fits well on its own, is easy to get into and out of, and is easy to move.
These include our low or grand loungers
You have one for the fire pit or several for every member of the house.
Pergolas
You can use our beanbags as a daybed on your pergola because they are suitable for outdoor use all year round.
Since they become a focal point and somewhere you can relax anytime you want, our big bean bags fit perfectly for filling a pergola.
Gardens and lawns
The yard and lawn seem to be a lovely area for a beanbag placement.
If you have room, our larger bean bags are the most commonly used ones for these areas.
A bag with black beans
Make sure to select bean bags that are light in color. Darker tones may heat up in the sun. In any one of these, you can relax and let your concerns vanish while enjoying the sounds of the surroundings.
Pebbles & roads
These are excellent outdoor spaces for a beanbag where you might converse among friends and family or relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Again, a beanbag is a great choice for these outdoor spaces because it's easy to climb into and out of, and it's also easy to grab and move.
As a result, our large or low loungers are excellent choices.
Again, you can have one to relax alone or each family member.
Ponds
Since outdoor bean bags have a small footprint, you can arrange a few together during events.
Using many beanbag couches and ottomans, for instance, you could create a sofa for far less than you would usually pay for an outdoor lounge.
Care for Bean Bags Outside
Unlike other kinds of outdoor furniture, outdoor beanbags are fantastic since they don't require particular treatment with materials. Little preventative maintenance and moderate cleaning will help them last a long time.
We offer the following advice to maintain your beanbag's long-lasting appeal:
Bring it inside while not in use; if you use it outside, bring it in.
By doing this, one helps to prevent things like acid rain and concentrated airborne pollutants, including oxidants, gases, and harmful compounds, especially prevalent in large cities, from hurting it.
Particularly in a humid environment, it can be quite useful for keeping your beanbag cool and dry when not in use.
Sometimes clean everything all around. Accidents happen; occasionally you might drop something on the beanbag.
You could then wipe it with a moist towel and warm, soapy water. Occasionally, you should also thoroughly clean it to remove any accumulated external dirt and grime.
Never use products that contain bleach; instead, use mild soap or detergent diluted in water. After cleaning under your beanbag, make sure it dries before returning it to the floor; otherwise, you run the risk of drawing mold to flourish.
Our beanbags should not attract mildew or mold, given the fabric we use. However, if you find mold developing, one of the most effective ways to remove it is by using clove oil. Without involving harmful chemicals, this is a natural cure for eradicating mold.

Best Colors for the Outside World. At Brandnmart Bean Bags, we design our bean bags so that they are resistant to outside use.
This means that it is totally up to you to choose what color you want in your outside environment; the sun will not cause the colors to fade or the material to shatter.
Still, we like to counsel our clients on colors that would be most suited for various climates.
Lighter colors are ideal for those who live in a warm and sunny area since they are heat resistant; they won't fade in the sun.
Though similar to a black leather car seat, darker colors are not always the best choice because they can be difficult to sit on when warm.
If your area is warm, having a lighter color on top and a darker color on the sides may help you offset any preference for a darker color.
We are now focusing on those who live in colder regions or plan to use your beanbag outdoors more frequently during the winter months.
For those types of weather, darker tones like teal, charcoal, or chocolate are fantastic.
You can see the color spectrum we provide here.
Why is being waterproof and weatherproof so crucial?
If you want a beanbag for outdoor use to last, you need to build it of waterproof, UV-resistant materials.
UV radiation from the sun can seriously damage some man-made materials used in beanbag design.
If your beanbag is in direct sunlight, you want to prevent its colors from fading or appearing patchy, especially after a few days with temperatures above 35 degrees.
Therefore, a weatherproof bean bag must include:
The fabric has built-in UV resistance features.
The thread is also UV-resistant.
This implies that the cloth can distribute the UV light from the sun, so it remains unharmed.
This is critical, because otherwise the fabric would break and your beanbag would become unusable.
If the thread itself lacks UV resistance, the UV-resistant fabric serves no purpose.
A beanbag is essentially only as good as the thread used to keep it together.
Ultimately, the thread ties all the cloth panels together; hence, UV radiation cannot have any effect on this.
Stabilizers for UV-resistant bean bags, such as Brandnmart, are also included in the fabric itself.
These stabilizers absorb UV light and dissipate it, preventing the fabric from reaching its full strength.
Let's now delve into the reasons why a bean bag needs to be waterproof.
First of all, it's crucial to note that none of the bean bags are absolutely watertight.
Though the fabric is waterproof, the water can get between zipper lines or seams and eventually find its way inside the beanbag.
This isn't a significant problem. The issue arises from the possibility of mildew or mold growing on or inside the bean bag.
The most important thing is to keep in mind that your beanbag cannot escape if you believe any water has accumulated inside.
You should allow them to dry out over time. Remove the inner lining, flip it inside out, and then position it in bright sunlight for just long enough to fully dry it out.
If your bean bags remain wet and do not dry in the sun, mold can grow.
Refer to my sub-headings "Best Filling" and "Bean Bag Care for the Outdoors." for further ideas on how to help stop mildew or mold from developing on your bean bag.
Regarding bean bags, it is also noteworthy that water-resistant and waterproof differ from one another.
You may be storing your beanbag either in the rain or around the pool; therefore, it is critical that they are safe from water.
Though they do not completely reject all the water, water-resistant bean bags are somewhat resistant to water infiltrating them.
Because waterproof beanbags are totally impervious, water cannot pass through them.
Both types of bean bags are suitable for outdoor use.
Water-resistant bean bags, on the other hand, can deteriorate over time because a small amount of water may have seeped into them.
The perfect complement to your outdoor bean bags.
Regular filling is ideal, specifically those small foam balls known as "expanded polystyrene beans" (EPS). These are just 3 to 4 mm round and resemble Styrofoam.
For details on where you could purchase this filling, see my blog here.
Nevertheless, what makes this the best option for outdoor use?
While mold is likely to grow on any substitute, such as edible beans, sawdust, shredded paper, cedar shavings, rice, hay, buckwheat hulls, recyclables, and so on, it will not grow on these beans.
I also advise against foam, because if used outside, it will encourage bacteria and other pests.
Just how many do you need?
Your home and family will determine the response to this inquiry, as well as what you are using the backyard bean bags for.
Some questions should be considered, such as:
Your residence holds how many people?
Are you planning to use them for entertainment?
For instance, consider our King Bean Bag if you intend to kick back and unwind when you have friends and family over.
This fits more than one person in all kinds of different seated positions at 165 cm by 135 cm.
This super-sized bean bag is perfect for lounging back and relaxing, reading a book, chatting with friends, and much more.
Finally
Bean bags fit easily and have a variety of uses in your backyard. Important considerations are whether the bean bag is stain resistant, heat resistant, mold and mildew resistant, and waterproof. If you get all these items and choose a color that matches the temperature where you live, you will have a fantastic setup in your garden.
